On the morning of November 6, 2025, as part of a working trip to China, Quang Ninh University of Industry, led by its Rector, Dr. Hoang Hung Thang, visited and worked with Erqing Engineering Academy in Guangxi (China).

On the afternoon of October 11, 2023, Quang Ninh University of Industry held a meeting and working session with a delegation from Soonchunhyang University and Chungnam Province, South Korea. Dr. Hoang Hung Thang – Secretary and Rector of the University – presided over the reception of the delegation.

On the morning of October 24, 2023, Quang Ninh Industrial University held a meeting with a delegation from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada. Dr. Hoang Hung Thang – Party Secretary and Rector of the University – presided over the meeting.

The STRIVE project, coded 101128558 - STRIVE - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE, to be implemented from January 2024 to December 2027, was officially launched in Bologna, Italy on January 22-23, 2024. This project is funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ program and coordinated by the AlmaLaurea University Association, Italy, and includes 7 partners, including 4 Vietnamese universities and 3 European partners.

On July 25, 2025, Quang Ninh University of Industry solemnly held a reception and worked with the delegation of Gyeonggi University of Science and Technology, Korea - one of the prestigious educational institutions in Korea, specializing in training in the fields of science and technology to serve industrial needs and nurture technical talents.

Within the framework of the Project “Strengthening the Internationalization Capacity in New Higher Education Institutions in Vietnam - STRIVE”, on June 23, 2025, the delegation of Quang Ninh University of Industry (QUI) led by Dr. Pham Duc Thang, Vice Rector of the University, as head of the delegation attended the International Workshop with the theme “Workshop on leveraging the mobility experience of students and staff” at Tuscia University, Viterbo City, Italy

On November 7, 2025, on the sidelines of the official working trip to China, the delegation of Quang Ninh University of Industry led by Dr. Hoang Hung Thang - Principal of the School led the delegation in coordination with Getech Co., Ltd., a member of TCL Group, China, led by Mr. Nham Hoc Luong - General Director, to visit and work with Nanning Vocational and Technical University, Guangxi Province, China (Nanning Vocational and Technical University)

On the morning of November 21, 2025, Quang Ninh University of Industry held a reception and worked with the delegation from Guangxi Industrial Technical Academy and Guangdong Getech Co., Ltd. - China

Within the framework of international cooperation activities, from November 2-3, 2025, the delegation of Quang Ninh University of Industry (QUI) led by Dr. Hoang Hung Thang - Rector of the University, the delegation also included Dr. Ta Van Kien, Head of the Department of Scientific Research and International Relations and Dr. Lanh Thi Hoa, Head of the Faculty of Economics. The delegation had an official visit and work with Liaoning Technical University (LNTU), China.

For two days, from June 13-14, 2024, at the University of Évora, Évora city, Portugal. Representatives of Quang Ninh University of Industry (QUI) attended the Workshop within the program of the STRIVE Project "Strengthening the internationalization of emerging universities in Vietnam" with code number 101128558 - STRIVE - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE, this is a project funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union and coordinated by the University Association AlmaLaurea, Italy, including 07 partners, including 4 Vietnamese universities and 3 European universities and QUI is honored to be 1 of 4 universities in Vietnam to attend. The content of this workshop is an Overview of the Erasmus + program in the field of higher education.

In the context of deep integration of higher education, international connection and cooperation is not only a trend but also an inevitable direction to improve the quality of training, research and development of global human resources. Seizing that opportunity, on the afternoon of October 10, 2025, Quang Ninh University of Industry organized a workshop on "Raising awareness for students, lecturers and staff about Erasmus+ opportunities", within the framework of the STRIVE Project - "Internationalization of emerging universities in Vietnam" under the Erasmus+ Program funded by the European Commission.
