Attending the working session, on behalf of Quang Ninh University of Industry were Dr. Hoang Hung Thang - Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, and several heads and deputy heads of departments and units. The delegation from Soonchunhyang University, South Korea, was led by Mr. Jaesam Lin, Head of the Global Education Exchange Support Executive Board of Soonchunhyang University; Mr. Yi Chae Gu, Head of the Gender Equality and Family Policy Committee of Chungnam Province; Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hanh, Director of the Korean Language Education Center of Soonchunhyang University in Vietnam; and other members.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Hoang Hung Thang, Rector of the University, happily welcomed the delegation from Soonchunhyang University and Chungnam Province of South Korea to visit and work with Quang Ninh University of Industry. Dr. Hoang Hung Thang introduced the history of development and outstanding achievements in training, scientific research, and international cooperation of the university in recent years.

In the era of international integration, Quang Ninh Industrial University continues to expand its search for and build cooperative relationships with reputable international partners, aiming to diversify and standardize international quality in its training programs. Dr. Hoang Hung Thang hoped that both sides would continue to exchange and develop cooperation plans in the future in areas of mutual interest. This would contribute to promoting the development of universities in particular, as well as the good relationship between Vietnam and South Korea in general.
During the meeting, representatives from Soonchunhyang University in South Korea introduced key information about the university, highlighted its strong training programs with many international students, including Vietnamese students, and proposed forms of cooperation in human resource training in the future. Mr. Yi Chae Gu, representing Chungnam Province, introduced Chungnam Province, home to Soonchunhyang University, its policies encouraging international collaborative training, and opportunities for international students to study and work in the Province, as well as in South Korea, after graduation.
During the meeting, representatives from the leadership of Quang Ninh University of Industry and Soonchunhyang University exchanged the first Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and discussed areas of cooperation such as: the 2+2 transfer program, the method of recognizing grades and credits and awarding diplomas, and cooperation in scientific research.

Mr. Jaesam Lin, representing the Korean delegation, thanked Quang Ninh University of Industry for the warm welcome. The Korean delegation highly appreciated the opportunities for cooperation between the two sides and expressed their desire to welcome more students from Quang Ninh University of Industry to study in Korea through cooperation programs in the future.
This reception and working session initially built trust and a positive impression, opening up opportunities for cooperation between the two universities. The leaders of both universities believe that this will be a solid foundation for the long-term and fruitful development of their cooperative relationship in the future. With a long-term strategic vision, it is hoped that in the near future, Quang Ninh University of Industry and Soonchunhyang University will have increasingly sustainable cooperation, linkages, and development.
