International Students

Visa Application Process for International Students
Step 1: The partner institution sends QUI the student’s application, including a scanned copy of the passport.
Step 2: QUI reviews and approves the application and issues the official Admission Decision.
Step 3: Using the passport copy and the scanned Admission Decision, the International Cooperation Department submits the online visa application on the Ministry of Public Security’s public service portal.
Step 4: After the Immigration Department issues the visa approval letter, QUI sends this document to the student so that they can collect their visa at the Vietnamese Embassy/Consulate in their home country.

Vietnamese Language Courses
QUI offers a structured set of Vietnamese language courses designed specifically for international students. These courses help students improve communication skills, understand academic content in Vietnamese, and integrate more easily into campus life. Currently, the university provides:
  • Advanced Vietnamese 1 – focusing on expanding vocabulary, complex sentence structures, and practical communication in academic and social settings.
  • Advanced Vietnamese 2 – designed to further develop fluency, academic writing skills, and advanced reading comprehension for students who already have a strong Vietnamese foundation.
  • Vietnamese for Specific Purposes (VSP) – a specialized course tailored to fields such as engineering, mining, business, and technology, helping students understand technical terminology and professional communication used in their study programs.
QUI’s Vietnamese courses are taught by experienced instructors and include interactive learning activities, cultural exposure, and opportunities to practice with local students.
Housing

QUI offers fully equipped, safe, and affordable on-campus dormitories for international students. Rooms are located within walking distance of classrooms, the library, and student service facilities.
 

Libraries

QUI’s library system provides academic books, digital resources, study rooms, and computer access. International students can use all library services with their student ID.
